On June 28, 2021, a delegation from JSC “Institute for Development of Electric Power Industry and Energy Saving (Kazakhenergoekspertiza)” visited the Smit Central Asia plant. During the visit, a meeting was held where issues of “green technologies” in Kazakhstan and opportunities for cooperation between the enterprise and JSC were discussed. Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Understanding on Energy Saving and Improving Energy Efficiency was signed.
